The ‘Red Journey Campaign’ to donate blood was organized on July 27 by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the Hanoi Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation at the My Dinh Stadium.
The blood donation campaign is a meaningful activity that attracts thousands of young people from 63 provinces across the country.
During the campaign, organizers collected thousands of units of blood from 300,000 volunteers, for the blood bank at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion for treatment of patients.
The organizers also kicked off more than 100 workshops in 15 provinces to mobilize people to participate in the campaign.
