SGGP continues relief aids to flood victims

Sai Gon Giai Phong Newpspaper’s  program Nghia Tinh Truong Son (Sentimental attachment for Truong Son Road) and Pepsico Vietnam reached northern central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, badly hit by floods last month, to conduct relief work on Wednesday.

In Ha Tinh, they presented the health clinic of Ha Linh Commune in Huong Khe District VND80 million to equip new medical devices. The delegation also delivered VND15 million to Nguyen Thi Lam whose husband died in the flooding and 102 presents to others in the commune.

In Nghe An, the border post 561 in Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong District received a present valued VND8.7 million while two worst damaged households in the area were assisted with VND15 million each to rebuild homes.

In Hung Nguyen District’s Hung Nhan Commune, the two families with dead relatives and home swept way got VND25 million while the commune health clinic received VND80 million to overcome the floods’ aftermaths.

In the visit, SGGP delivered Hung Nguyen and Nghi Loc districts four tons of rice, 500 instant noodle boxes and 37 boxes of clothes which were donated by the newspaper’s readers.
