Mr. Tran Van Hay who is the record holder for the longest hair in Vietnam passed away on February 23 in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang at the age of 74.
Mr. Hay hasn't cut his hair which measures more than 6.2 meters for over 40 years.
He started growing his hair when she was 25. He said that he stopped having haircuts after one made him ill.
Hay last washed his hair about ten years ago, and usually tied it up and covered it with a scarf.
He was known as the man with the longest hair in the country in 2005.
