A rare and endangered sea turtle has been released into the wild in the Cham Islands World Biosphere Reserve in Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam, said the management board of the Cham Island Marine Protected Area on Tuesday.
Pham Thi Kim Phuong from the management board said the five kilogram sea turtle got stuck in fishing net near Bim Beach Hamlet in the Cham Islands.
The fishermen who caught the turtle then handed it over to the management board of the Cham Island Marine Protected Area, who then released it into the wild.
