At House 67 inside the Presidential Palace complex where President Ho Chi Minh breathed his last, Phuc and his deputy Vu Duc Dam offered incense in memory of the nation’s beloved leader.
In the morning the same day, PM Phuc and Politburo members Truong Hoa Binh, permanent Deputy Prime Minister; Pham Minh Chinh, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission on Organization; and Defence Minister Ngo Xuan Lich offered incense to late Party General Secretary Le Duan, an outstanding leader of the Party whose name was closely associated to the victories of Vietnam’s revolution in the 20th century.
Also in the morning of February 1, the Government leader offered incense in memory of General Vo Nguyen Giap and General Nguyen Chi Thanh.
