Over 15,000 workers go abroad in two months

The Department of Oversea Labor has reported that 15,605 Vietnamese workers had been sent abroad in the first two months this year, accounting for 15.61 percent of the year’s plan and 91 percent compared the same period last year.

Taiwan (China) was still the largest labor export market of Vietnam, receiving 3,963 workers. It was followed by Japan that took in 2,215 Vietnamese workers.

According to the department, Vietnam has set a target to send 100,000 workers abroad this year.
