Over 1,000 blood units were collected at the event. The program aimed to promote the voluntary blood donation campaign at the city’s universities launched by HCMC humanitarian blood donation program and social organization.
Hundreds of students joined in the event. Mr. Huynh Van Hieu, chairman of Red Journey Club HCMC shared the program attracted more and more students in the city, raising students’ awareness about this humanitarian activity.
