The Competition ‘Tu hao Viet Nam’ (Proud of Vietnam) aims to create a healthy playground for students of senior high school and vocational schools as well as inspire young students’ passion to study Vietnam’s history and culture and responsibility for building the country.
The competition consists of three contests: Knowledge, Video-making and Infographic-design.
In Knowledge contest, there are three rounds. The weekly round requires students to perform their understanding through four parts such as the history stream, history decode, Vietnamese figures and Proud of Vietnam.
After eight weeks, the organizing board will choose 20 students with highest scores each province to join the provincial final round.
The organizing board will select 65 outstanding students who represent 63 provinces and municipal cities to take part in the national final round. Students with outstanding performance in each round will receive Prizes from the organizing board.
In clip- making contest, entries should be about events, historic figures or introduce historic sites or special cultural features of Vietnam.
This year also marks the birth of a new contest: Infographic-designing about Vietnamese historical events.
Individuals with highest prizes will also receive certificates of merit from Central committee of HCM Communist Youth Union, Ministry of Education and Training and cash awards up to VND300 million.
