No Vietnamese workers died in a brawl that took place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said Dao Cong Hai, deputy head of the Department of Overseas Labor (DOLAB) in Hanoi June 29.

He made the statement in response to recent information claiming three Vietnamese workers died in the clash.
He recognized that a fight among Vietnamese workers indeed had happened in the UAE, injuring several. The fight began as an internal conflict between Vietnamese workers.
UAE authorities have decided to expel 520 Vietnamese workers from the country, including those who were not involved in the fracas, according to Tien Phong Newspaper's report.
