The competitors of the men on the fields seemed to be more bitter and tough since all them want to boost their position on the ranking. Once again, the tragedies always came to the losers.
Yesterday was the saddest day for Hoa Phat Ha Noi (HPHN) since this team suffered a loss to The Cong (TC) on the Hang Day field after four consecutive draws in the 2008 season. TC’s Quang Vinh turned his penalty at the end of the second half into the sole score of the match, offering TC three points. Dong Tam Long An (DTLA) neither saw any luck in the fifth round since it lost all three points to Khataco Khanh Hoa (KKH). The KKH made its opening score at the 26th minute after a failed shot of DTLA’s Tshamala one minute earlier. DTLA soon found its evened score at the 52nd minute thanks to its replacement O.Kings. Both DTLA and KKH made one more score each then however KKH gained a final victory 4-2 thanks to two scores of Trong Thong and Quang Hai at the end of the match. The Thong Nhat field saw a convincing 2-0 victory of Southern-Steel Saigon Port (SSSP) over Phu My Fertilizer Nam Dinh (PMD). SSSP gained more three points in compensation for another three points lost on the Lach Tray field last week. Trindade and A Vi were the owners of the scores.Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) recovered its strength and satisfied its fans with a victory 2-1 over Boss Binh Dinh (BBD) on Quy Nhon field. Though BBD made its opening score at the 21st minute, HAGL promptly evened the scores and quickly took lead thanks to two scores of Agostinho and Tang Tuan at the 38th minute and 49th minute, respectively. Ha Noi ACB (HNA) did not want to share any points with its competitor, Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHS) Da Nang (SDN), and then a win was a must. And they did. Ha Noi ACB soon made its opening score at the 19 thanks to a close co-ordination of Thanh Luong and Van Minh. However, SDN was strong enough to even the score at the 55th thanks to Almeida.HNA’s Thanh Luong again made a miracle when doubling the score for HNA at the 65th minute.The last two matches between Becamex Binh Duong and Halida Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong Cement and Pijico Nghe An altogether came to two empty draws.
