Newspaper articles on Truong Sa, Hoang Sa displayed in Da Nang

An exhibition displaying newspaper articles and photographs on the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes opened at Hoang Sa Exhibition House in Hoang Sa district in Da Nang City on September 12.

The event showcases 284 articles and documents on firming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, China's illegal placement of Haiyang Shiyou 981 oil rig in the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of vVetnam and daily activities on islands in the country, which were published on newspapers, such as Nhan Dan, Sai Gon Giai Phong, Thanh Nien, Tuoi Tre, Dai Doan Ket, Da Nang and Phap Luat.
The event aims to raise awareness among people, especially the youth, of Vietnam’s authority over the two archipelagos, as well as the importance of protecting the national sea and islands sovereignty.
