Newspapers articles have written about the example of old man Cao Van Long, over 70 years old, in Dong An 4 village in My Xuyen Commune of An Giang Province who have fixed bad streets for over five years.
He has ridden a bike with devices and asphalt containers to fix streets with small and big potholes
Expressing his gratitude to the old man, the Minister wrote; “ On behalf of the transport sector, I send you a thank-you for your good humanitarian deed, especially amid the shortage of the national budget for building and maintaining roads. All sector staffs appreciate your work. You are a shining example for people to follow."
