High-Tech agricultural zone for breeding shrimp in Bac Lieu set up

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just approved decision to set up high tech agricultural zone for breeding shrimp in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu.

Accordingly, the zone is under Bac Lieu People’s Committee and built at Hiep Thanh Commune of Bac Lieu City, covering an area of 418ha.

The Zone focuses on studying and developing high tech in shrimp industry and transferring science technology achievements.  The PM instructed the shrimp industry must target to reach export turnover of up to US$ 10billion by 2025.
