According to the plan, HD Hyundai Eco Vina will invest an additional US$116 million to upgrade and expand its production facility, bringing its total investment capital to US$451 million. The expansion area covers more than 26.6 hectares, adjacent to the existing factory within the Dung Quat Economic Zone.

The focal point of the project is the construction of the Eco-Friendly Independent Tank Manufacturing Plant, which applies advanced technology from the HD Hyundai Group and aims to establish a large-scale manufacturing base in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Chairman Nguyen Duc Tam of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province emphasized that the project is implemented to aim toward the objective of building a production center for gas storage tanks, high-tech port cranes, and an eco-friendly shipbuilding industry. This direction completely aligns with the national strategic orientation for green development, emission reduction, and sustainable development set forth by the Government of Vietnam.
