This is the first time that the Ho Chi Minh City-based Circus Art Troupe is performing this play in the city.

Artist Doan Ba and general director of the show said it is a big challenge since circus artists have no idea about dramatics and acting. They not only have to focus on acrobatic performances but also on their dialogue delivery as well.

Phi Vu, the choreographer of circus techniques said the show attracted both adults and children because of its popular subject matter and interesting circus acrobatic performances.

The two leading roles were played by Quoc Hiep as ‘Romeo’ and Thu Hien as ‘Juliet’.
