The Prime Minister has approved to extend the pilot credit program for HIV infected people's families, pre/ post rehab drug addicts and prostitutes who cleaned up their acts and returned to normal life.
The extension is till December 31, 2017. The PM ordered related agencies to review and report the program result when it finished and then to draw a lesson for the implementation in 2018 which will be carried out across the country.
The state budget will provide VND15 billion (US$670,200) and the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has mobilized additional amount of VND15 billion for 2016 program.
For 2017, the bank will verify the demand reporting to the related agencies for approval. The state budget will provide half of the demand and the bank will cover the rest by calling for social contribution.
