The event marks the 42nd anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Unification (April 30, 1975 – 2017) and the 131st May Day (May 1, 1885-2017).
The exhibition showcases 80 photos highlighting the glorious struggle of the southern people in the Central Highlands-Hue- Da Nang-Saigon battlefields; and 42 years of years of formation and development of Ho Chi Minh City that has been listed among the top most dynamic cities in the region and in the world.
On the same day, other photo shows featuring more than 120 pictures on the construction, renewal and development of Ho Chi Minh City, and workers’ patriotism during the anti-American resistance war was organized in Dong Khoi Street and in Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace.
Exhibitions will run until May 10.
