Opening with a fireworks display and a water puppetry show, the festival will include performances of gongs and other musical instruments from the Central Highlands region.

The event seeks to highlight the folk culture of ethnic minority groups in different areas throughout the country, and will include the bamboo dance of the ethnic people in the northern province of Thanh Hoa.

Children will not only have a chance to enjoy the performances, but also to learn how to manipulate water puppets under the instruction of puppeteers from the Hong Phong troupe.
