A 14 year old boy died after being attacked by a big forest elephant in the southern province of Dong Nai on Sunday.
Vu and two other men were suddenly attacked by the elephant while they were travelling by motorcycles to fish at Da Bac Stream, in the Afforestation Yard 1 of La Nga forestry company, Dinh Quan District.
The men ran away and escaped while Vu was stuck under a motorcycle. The elephant stabbed in his abdomen with tusk and caused his head injuries. Vu then died on the way to hospital.
The elephant might be the biggest male of its flock in the area, according to local residents.
