Because many traffic accidents in Vietnam have taken place lately because of violation of traffic laws, including bad awareness of drivers, the use of alcohol, drugs and other intoxicants while driving, the Ministry of Transport will issue some more new regulations ruling that owners of transport companies and drivers are held accountable for such accidents.
Specifically, drivers will have their driver’s license permanently revoked if they cause terrible accidents.
Moreover, many drivers who have driving license but are unable to driver the vehicle are asked to take part in driving training courses. The training course must be inclusive of the Traffic Law. The Vietnam Directorate for Road must organize examination transparently and openly to all people.
Moreover, competent agencies must tighten transport and monitoring vehicle loading and driver training to reduce the number of accidents in the future.
