As per the committee, transportation of necessary goods faced difficulties when seasonal wind blows up in Tet occasion; the island is likely to be isolated in many days; accordingly the committee has set up plan to prepare enough essential commodities and boats to serve locals’ demand.
The committee asked relevant agencies, enterprises and businesses to reserve essential goods and ships to serve people at reasonable prices.
Businesses and enterprises signing to provide commodities for the island will be eligible for enjoying low interest loans.
In related news, People’s Committee in Da Lat city of the highlands province of Lam Dong encouraged enterprises and benefactors to provide 40 tons of agricultural products to residents and soldiers in Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago in the central province of Khanh Hoa on the occasion of Tet holiday.
Flower Association and organizations, people in Da Lat Town also gifted residents and soldiers in Truong Sa 400 flowerpots of orchids.
It is scheduled that all produce and flowerpots will arrive in the archipelago on January 7.
