The Vietnamese students captured seven gold medals, seven silver medals and six bronze medals from the competition.

In the national festival, 22 teacher participants from HCMC won the competition and they ranked the second after Hanoi team.
The winners from ASEAN Skill Competition will have stable employment after graduation, said the Department.
Department Director Le Minh Tan asked vocation training schools in HCMC to improve their quality; especially 13 major schools which HCMC spent VND1,100 billion ($47.3 million ) to upgrade.
He requested schools to provide just 30 percent for theory and the remaining time is for practice to meet demand of labor market in and out the country.
On the occasion, HCMC People’s Committee awarded merit certificates to the eight winners and three teachers who trained students to take part in the ASEAN Skill Competition.
