On Saturday, all flights of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines to and from airports affected by the typhoon were back to normal. The airline has supplemented eight flights and used wide body aircrafts such as Boeing 787, Airbus A350 and A330 to meet travel demand.
Low cost carrier Vietjet has also resumed flights to and from the central region. It will increase flights in routes HCMC-Vinh and HCMC-Thanh Hoa on September 16-17 to transport those stranded by the storm.
Passengers from and to Dong Hoi, Quang Binh will be transferred to flights of the same hop on September 16-19.
