This classification is part of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s pilot program to find the source of solid waste in Doc Lap Street on April 3.

The pilot program was launched on December 21, 2013 by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and HCMC Urban Environment One Member Limited Company.

Since March 2014, the program’s organization board has worked with Saigon Giai Phong and Saigon Co.op supermarket chain to launch a campaign to cleanup classified solid waste.
