Vietnamese rescue workers save injured Chinese sailor

A Chinese sailor has been rushed to the Vung Tau-based Le Loi Hospital after an accident on a Panama vessel offshore Vietnam, said the Border Army Headquarter in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on June 13.

 

Jin Tian Ru, 23 years old, works as a sailor on the HW-HARVEST vessel registered under Panama’ flag.

 

Jin’s right hand was bruised caused by an incident during work on the vessel, which was 50 nautical miles southeast of O Cap Cape at that time.

 

The vessel was on its route from China to Thailand.

 

The Marine Search and Rescue Center Region III and the border army force sent a vessel out to rush Jin to the hospital on June 12. His health has gradually recovered.
