Of which, there were 55 new projects having received investment certificates with total capital of $98.3 million and 14 projects added more investment for $84.8 million.
Vietnamese enterprises invested most in science and technology with nearly $82 million, accounting for nearly 45 percent of total investment. Finance, banking and insurance attracted more than $37 million, accounting for more than 20 percent. Information and communication got $31 million, accounting for nearly 17 percent.
There were 25 countries and territories having received investments fromVietnamese enterprises, of which, Spain attracted highest investment, followed by the US, Cambodia and Malaysia.
Besides, foreign direct investment attraction of Vietnam hit a four-year high at $16.7 billion. Newly-registered capital, additional capital, capital contribution and purchase of shares by foreign investors rose by nearly 70 percent in comparison with the same period last year.
