Over 4,000 jobs will be offered at the ‘Job Fair’ in Ho Chi Minh City, to be held on March 5 this year, said Nguyen Thi Nguyet Anh, deputy director of the HCMC Centre for Employment Services.
The job fair will be held in two locations. One will be held at 153 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street in Ward 17 of Binh Thanh District and the other at the Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone in District 7.
Since March 2, 58 businesses have registered for placement opportunities at the job fair, with a total demand for 4,000 employees.
While 23 enterprises will directly offer placement at the job fair, 35 others will do so via two websites www.vieclamvietnam.gov.vn and www.vieclamhcm.net
Most of the businesses have requirement in areas such as sales, garments, shoes, marketing, interpreter, human resource management, business administration, accounting, construction, mechanics, drivers, security guards and cooks.
The job fair will prove invaluable for those unemployed. Job seekers will be informed about the job requirements, guided in employment procedures, directly interviewed and informed of labour rights.
