The Industry and Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Monday worked with 15 South Korean businesses arriving in Vietnam to find investment opportunities in some fields.
They have come to learn about investment in eco friendly construction materials, medical equipment, information technology, and some Korean strength products such as ginseng, cosmetics and baby care products.
The investment can be implemented via join ventures with Vietnamese firms or qualified partners who would distribute Korean products in local market
The Republic of Korea (RoK) is among the largest foreign investors in Vietnam with total registered capital approximating US$37 billion.
