Robocon 2014 Contest kicks off

160 teams from 33 universities and colleges will compete in Robocon Vietnam Contest 2014 on April 3.

160 teams from 33 universities and colleges will compete in Robocon Vietnam Contest 2014 on April 3.

Each team will work closely together to build two robots that will travel through an obstacle course. The course will have a seesaw, pole walk, and swing.

Each team will finish three laps.

The winning team will have their smaller robot wave the flag at the highest spot on the elevator.

The first round for the North, the Central and the South took place on April 2.

Thirty two teams will compete in the final round in Nha Trang City in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa from May 5 – 11.

The final winner will represent Vietnam in the Asia-Pacific Robocon Contest in India in August 2014.
