President greets teachers at Presidential Palace in Hanoi

President Truong Tan Sang greeted 104 kindergarten and university teachers who have shown excellent achievements in their career on occasion of Vietnam Teacher’s Day, at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on November 16.

Teachers from cities and provinces across the country travelled to Hanoi for the ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education and Training to honor Vietnamese teachers.

The President highly appreciated the outstanding contributions made by all teachers and hoped they would continue to work towards the development of the education sector.

On the same day, Huynh Thanh Lap, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation and representative of the Department of Education and Training, visited Professor Dang Dinh Ang, former teacher of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences and Professor Nguyen Ngoc Giao, Deputy Director of Vietnam National University located in Ho Chi Minh City.

Pham Vu Luan, Minister of Education and Training, expressed deep gratitude to teachers and staff in the education sector in a greeting letter to all on Vietnam Teacher’s Day.
