The new registration increased the number of country-coded domain name ".vn" up to 408,382 IDN on the Domain Name System (DNS).
During recent four years, an average growth rate of the national domain name reached over 10 percent yearly, said VNNIC.
The increase contributed to promote strategy and E- government application into state administration and operation process.
Currently, most of ministries and departments use country-coded domain name ".vn" as the web portal.
