The Foreign Economic Relations Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment forecasts that Vietnam is estimated to disburse around US$3.6 billion from the ODA fund in 2011.
This year, 51 bilateral and multilateral donors have pledged to finance $8.3 billion for Vietnam, of which nonrefundable ODA accounts to 13 percent of the total ODA fund.
Noticeably, the amount of ODA fund invested in Vietnam has not decreased even though donors are currently facing difficulties.
The total disbursed amount of the ODA fund is estimated at around $33.4 billion, accounting to 61 percent of the fund accumulated from eighteen annual consultative group meetings.
