According to the Bureau of Employment under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, this year alone the national program on jobs and vocational training has spent VND90 billion (US$4.3 million) on upgrading and modernizing facilities in employment centers across the country.
The total investment for the period 2006-2012 has been VND390 billion ($18.7 million), informed the Bureau.
Up to VND400 billion ($19 million) is expected to be spent in 2013 for the program, including an amount of VND155 billion on 10 vocational guidance centers and vocational training centers of the Youth Communist Union.
Along with support for employment seekers, the program runs 46 centers that organize successful job exchange floors. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 2,000 job exchange floors have been organized and attracted thousands of job seekers; many of whom have found employment of their choice.
