Quang Ngai Province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is to hold on March 16 an incense-offering and bell-ringing ceremony to commemorate victims of the 1968 My Lai Massacre.

Director of the Son My Relics, Pham Thanh Cong, said March 15 that five long and four short bells would be rung to memorialize 504 innocent citizens killed in the massacre by the US Army in Son Tinh District on Mar. 16, 1968.

Relic workers will then ring the bells each day in honor of the victims.
