More evidences prove Paracel archipelago belongs to Vietnam

Local government in the central province of Thua Thien Hue has found a document on meteorological service on Paracel islands in 1955 and given it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The 10 page document written in both French and Vietnamese had been kept in the provincial Archives.

This is an original document of the Hue City’s Construction Department in the Republic of Southern Vietnam related to Paracel Islands sovereignty.

It regards to repairs of the Paracel Meteorological Department’s building from 1897 to 1960.

Earlier, researcher Phan Thuan An has found two documents with notes and signature of King Bao Dai, the last emperor  of Nguyen Dynasty,  at a family bookcases of princess who is a daughter of King Dong Khanh.

Both official documents signed by King Bao Dai are the King’s decisions to reward individuals and organizations who had great contribution to defending Paracel Islands of Vietnam.

The reseacher also discovered another document written in Chinese characters that was kept for 250 years by residents in Phu Loc district of Thua Thien Hue.
