MobiFone will provide international roaming SMS (short message service) for card users in Quarter 2 of 2006, according to the VMS Company, the administrator of MobiFone – 090 network.
Currently, the service was offered for subscribers only. MobiFone will also provide customers with missed call service to inform the number of missed calls while they switch off their cell phones, starting Quarter 2 of 2006.
In the first two months of 2006, MobiFone had more 850,000 new subscribers, increasing the total amount of 090 subscribers to 4.67 million.
