Long An gains good achievements in gov’t new rural plan

After ten year of implementation of the government’s new rural plan, the Mekong delta province of Long An gained good achievements, announced by the provincial People’s Committee at a recent conference to review its task for the period 2010-2020.

After ten year implementation of the government’s new rural plan, 77 communes in Long An province have been recognized to complete the plan. It is scheduled that Hoa Phu Commune in Chau Thanh Dsitrict and Phuoc Hau Commune in Can Giuoc District of the province will finish the plan also.
During ten years, the province has called for over VND123 trillion ( $ 5.2 billion) including VND99.7 billion from the state budget and the remaining from social contribution.
The province has spent the sum on building roads, electric grid, and fresh water supply. Average income is nearly VND50 million per capita yearly and it strives it will reach to VND56 million by end of 2020.
