The People’s Committee of north central province of Thanh Hoa this morning hosted a ceremony to inaugurate the second cement production line of Cong Thanh Cement Plant at Nghi Son Economic Zone.
The line has a capacity of 12,500 tons of clinker a day, equivalent to 3.6 million tons of cement a year.
The project has been invested at US$420 million with the most advanced technology from Germany.
At present, Cong Thanh Cement Plant has two production lines with total capacity of 15,000 ton clinker a day, equivalent to 6 million tons of cement a year.
It is the country’s largest cement plant in Vietnam in term of scale and capacity.
