Heavy traffic congestion occurred on the section of National Highway 18A which passes through Cam Pha Town in Quang Ninh Province on March 9, as container trucks were unable to maneuver around on the slippery and muddy road.
The situation was worsened with other vehicles like cars, coaches and four wheelers jostling to free from the chaotic jam. Despite all efforts by the traffic police, the 10-kilometer long congestion took several hours to clear.
