Vietnam Internet Network Information Center has signed a cooperation agreement with HCMC Information & Communications Department to strengthen management and development co-operation for using internet resources in the term of 2016- 2021.
Accordingly, two sides will conduct activities such as seminar concerning to protect Vietnamese brand names and domains; popularize new normative documents relating to Internet resource; improve courses and using tendency for new domains Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).
The agreement will contribute to not only develop HCMC as a leading city for applying IPv6 under the national plan but also raise internet management role of State for domains names and IP address at locals.
Internet Protocol version 6 is the most recent version of the Internet Protocol (IP) that provides an identification and location system for computers on networks.
