Right after the announcement, Saigon Petro, Gas Pacific Petro, Citi Petro, Elf Gas have cut their prices, equivalent to the above levels.
According to gas businesses, the price reduction is because the world gas price in March has planned to decrease by US$42.5 over the previous month to $472.5 a ton.
The latest cut was on February 1 when gas prices reduced by VND20,000 to VND330,000 a 12 kilogram cylinder.
