The mountainous district of Ky Son in the north central province of Nghe An yesterday sent military and police forces to help residents repair consequences in the aftermath of a flash flood, which swept sway nine houses in Ta Ca commune on the previous day.
The flash flood was triggered by continuous heavy rain at 3 p.m. on Friday, also sweeping away properties and chicken of local people in the commune. Fortunately, no human loss was reported.
Floodwater has caused landslide and cut off many roads linking communes in the district.
