It became the most downloaded free iPhone and Android app in the past week with 50 million downloads each day and 47,000 positive comments.

The game has brought out surprising revenue and is expected to rival Candy Saga Crush, according to Cnet Magazine.

Game developer Nguyen Ha Dong created the program in three days on September 2013.  He graduated from the Poly-Technique school in Hanoi and won a prize for online chess during his schooling.

He plans to develop more games like Flappy Bird in the future.
