Da Nang Airport to be broadened for APEC 2017

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam has set up Da Nang International Airport Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company to upgrade and expand the airport for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2017 as per instruction by the Prime Minister.

A new international terminal will be built over 40,000 square meters comprising two separate parts for departure and arrival, traffic roads, parking lots and auxiliary works.

In addition, the corporation is expected to invest VND30 billion (US$1.36 million) in a 5,000 square meter guest house on the right of the new terminal to meet reception demand to VIP and diplomatic guests to Da Nang.
