Cooking gas price increases from September

Businesses in HCMC yesterday announced that retail cooking gas price will increase by VND16,000 a 12 kilogram cylinder from September 1.

That is the fourth gas price increase since early this year.
According businesses, the price increase accords with the world price. Specifically average contract price (CP) price has reached US$490 a ton in September, up $50 a ton compared to August.
Many businesses including Saigon Petro have said that maximum retail price will be VND321,000 a 12 kilogram.
