Children's Hospital breaks ground in Binh Chanh District

On July 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health held a groundbreaking ceremony to build the Children's Hospital in Tan Kien Commune in Binh Chanh District.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Thanh Hai, Secretary of HCMC Party Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, Minister of Health and leaders from various departments.

The hospital will be built to meet modern standards and will include a medical examination center for outpatients and inpatients, a diagnostic area and testing labs.

The latest modern medical equipment will be provided to run this eight floor one thousand hospital bed facility, that will be built at a total investment cost of VND2,500 billion.

The Children's Hospital will be complete by 2015.
