As of June, Vietnam’s export turnover reached US$113.93 billion. The country earned US$112.22 billion from exports.
In the first six months of this year, Vietnam enjoyed a trade surplus of US$2.71 billion. Foreign-invested companies notched a trade surplus of US$15.65 billion.
Vietnam earned nearly US$22.5 billion from exports of mobile handsets and spare parts, up 15.4 percent; US$13.5 billion from computers, electronics and accessories, up 15.7 percent; US13.4 billion from textiles – garment, up 13.8 percent; US$7.8 billion from machinery and components, up 30.6 percent; US$7.8 billion from footwear, up 10.6 percent; US$4.1 billion from vehicles and parts, up 20.5 percent; US$4.1 billion from wood and timber products, up 12.4 percent.
