The Vietnam Paper Corporation (Vinapaco) has introduced to the market a new kind of photocopying paper, CleverUP, which it says can compete against imported products thanks to its prominent features.

CleverUP paper is produced on an advanced production line supplied by Germany’s E.C.H. Will to the Phu Tho Province-based Bai Bang Paper Company, a Vinapaco affiliate, said Vu Ngoc Bao, secretary general of the Vietnam Pulp and Paper Association.
The line has a total output of 50,000 tonnes of high-quality paper per year, Mr. Bao said.
CleverUP’s biggest advantage is that it has the same quality as imported paper of the same variety, he said, adding that CleverUP can be used for various kinds of printers, photocopying machines and fax machines.
Vietnam uses more than 100,000 tonnes of photocopy paper per year, of which 60 percent is imported, according to statistics.
Therefore, in an effort to support the campaign “Buy Vietnamese Goods,” Vinapaco has invested in production of the new paper, Mr. Bao said.
Besides boosting the quality of its paper products, Vinapaco will continue developing other new products to satisfy increasing demand, he added.
