The farm is using herd management DairyPlan, CowScout, and close automated milking system. The baby cow will be fed with automated milk system; their health and growth is monitored without pause.
Moreover, the farm has automatic feed pusher Lely Juno to push feed regularly within the cows’ reach.
The VND700 billion ($30.7 million) farm raising 4,000 cows is located in the area of 40 hectare. It is the first farm in the chain of five IT-adopted farms in Thanh Hoa Province. The chain of farms is expected to cover 2,500 hectare. By 2020, four other farms will be built as per planned including an organic dairy cow farm where raise 20,000 cows providing around 110 million liters of milk a year.
Similar its other international-standard farms in the country, the chain in Thanh Hoa Province is invested with state-of-the-art machines and IT adoption. It achieves Global GAP- standard dairy.
The dairy producer also takes heed to waste treatment. Wastewater treating factory will be used for cleaning farms and watering huge grassland.
It is expected that the number of cow will be 200,000 by 2020, as a result, fresh milk will double in the year to meet demand of million families in the country.
Also in the inauguration ceremony, the milk fund jointly-organized by Vinamilk and the national Fund for Vietnamese Children under the Ministry of Labor, Invalid and Social Affairs gave 61,633 glasses of milk worth VND400 million to children in the province.
