Mango is the second kind of Vietnamese fruit after dragon fruit which is allowed to export to Chile.
Currently, the two sides have been negotiating to open the markets for Chilean cherries and Vietnamese grapefruit. Chilean consumers did not get accustomed to Vietnam's tropical fruits because the country’s marketing has not been widespread although the South-American country has imported many fresh fruits and vegetables as mangoes from tropical countries such as Mexico , Ecuador every year.
The Chilean Fresh Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) highly appreciated the trade potentiality between the two countries and the business opportunities between the two countries.
